An achievement is permanently missable only when the game closes access or a branch prevents recovery. “Easy to overlook” is not enough. This page should document the closing event, last safe save, recovery attempt and current evidence before warning a player to start a second run.
Test access loss
Record the room, decision, inventory and conversation before the suspected trigger. Save through the supported system when possible, perform the route, and try to return. If the achievement opportunity remains available, mark it optional. If it disappears, document the first point at which it could no longer be reached.
Do not confuse a missed dialogue line with a missed badge. A character may stop repeating a sentence while the achievement remains obtainable elsewhere. Likewise, a secret room can be optional without being permanently inaccessible. Keep the exact condition and the notification separate.
Plan branch cleanup
Use a descriptive branch save and group goals only when they share a confirmed setup. If two achievements need incompatible choices, show the split and the earliest return point. Do not promise one-run completion until every conflict has been tested in the current Steam build.
The full checklist belongs in All 16 Achievements. Secrets explains discovery, Endings explains branch consequences, and Saving and Route Planning explains how to preserve context. This page should focus on access loss rather than repeat those routes.
Write a useful warning
Lead with the last safe point, not with a dramatic “do not miss this” claim. Explain the action that closes access, then describe the recovery test. If the opportunity can be revisited, change the label to optional and keep the warning about visibility only. Readers need to know whether they must reload, start a second route, or simply return later.
An achievement notification is the confirmation. A community checklist, an unexplained empty badge, or a character line alone is not enough. Keep the public version and evidence link beside the status so the warning can be reviewed after an official patch.
For a table row, use four explicit values: access state, closing action, recovery state and notification evidence. “Unknown” is valid for recovery state while testing is incomplete. It is better to delay a missable warning than to force every player into an unnecessary second run.
When a route is confirmed, give the player a compact prevention step, a recovery option and the badge confirmation. Avoid repeating the full puzzle or ending sequence. A missable article is successful when it protects a save and answers whether a second route is necessary.
For an unresolved row, show the exact evidence gap rather than hiding it in a footnote. The reader can then decide whether to test the route, wait for a stronger report, or continue without chasing the badge. This is especially important when a community guide uses a different achievement name or branch label.
Keep the warning concise and actionable: make a supported save before the closing event, complete the prerequisite, and check the Steam notification. If the notification does not appear, do not mark the route complete merely because the final scene looked correct.
The completed article should list the exact badge name and the source that supports its status. If the name or trigger is not yet available, keep the row pending and point to the test plan. That is a useful handoff for the next editor and a safer promise for players.
Also state whether the opportunity affects only the badge or also a secret, item, or ending. A player who only wants the notification can then follow the shortest route, while a story-focused player can defer the full spoiler.
Evidence and version
The official store page displays 16 achievements but does not supply every trigger in the product description. Community walkthroughs are useful leads; current-build notifications are stronger evidence. Scope is Steam base game AppID 2684630, public label 1.08, Windows native. Link each warning to its direct evidence instead of copying an unsourced table.
