This page is for optional discoveries in Endacopia, so expect spoilers and possible mature-content references. An easter egg is an optional joke, animation, line or object response. A missable is stricter: access must close after a route, state change or choice. Do not use the second label simply because a discovery is easy to overlook.
Check the state before the action
Record the area, character positions, inventory and most recent completed event before testing an unusual interaction. Perform one action and write down the visible result. Then revisit or reload through the game’s supported system once. If the effect cannot be repeated, publish it as a community lead rather than a confirmed instruction.
A good secret note explains the condition, the action and the payoff. “Inspect the loose object after the visitor leaves” is reproducible. “There is a hidden joke in the room” is not. Keep fan nicknames in a confidence note instead of presenting them as official terminology.
Optional is not permanently missable
Ask whether the player can return to the room, repeat the conversation, or reach the object after the main scene. If yes, call the content optional and give the return route. If no, record the closing event and last safe save point. If the recovery test has not been performed, write “possible missable” and show the missing evidence.
This distinction is useful for achievements. A missed line may be replayable even when a secret animation is not. A secret may be optional but still unlock a Steam achievement. Keep the discovery route here and put the notification condition in Achievements.
Tone and spoiler warnings
Endacopia blends colorful pixel imagery, comedy and horror. The official Steam page warns about psychological horror, blood, violence, death, drugs and jump scares. Put a mature-content note before a reveal that contains one of those elements, not after the screenshot or final sentence.
Search titles should avoid revealing the surprise when the user only searches for an optional interaction. Use a descriptive room label for the index, then reveal the visual gag below the spoiler notice. Full-ending consequences belong in Endings even when a secret action is the entry point.
Evidence level
Use Confirmed for a current-build reproduction or first-party evidence, Reproduced community for an independently checked route, Community lead for one report, and Unresolved when sources conflict. The current source boundary is public 1.08 and Steam base game AppID 2684630. The official product page supplies the content boundary; a third-party secrets guide supplies demand signals, not authority.
A compact discovery record
For each entry, preserve the last known state, the action, the result and the recovery test. Add whether the discovery affects an achievement or ending, but keep those detailed route instructions on their own pages. This record lets an editor update one secret when the public version changes without turning the whole index into a repeated walkthrough.
If a player reports a strange animation or room response, capture the report date, platform and preceding event. A single report can be valuable search evidence while still being too weak for an imperative solution. Label the uncertainty next to the claim so readers do not mistake an open test for a confirmed secret.
For a potential missable, include the last ordinary action before access closes and the earliest recovery attempt. If the result can be reached again, downgrade the warning to optional. If the test is blocked by a different route or update, keep the page as a lead and record exactly what remains unknown.
When the discovery includes a visual scare or disturbing image, put the warning before the media and before the actionable instruction. Readers searching for an achievement may want the trigger but not the presentation. Separating trigger, consequence and mood respects both intents.
If the same discovery appears in a video, forum post and walkthrough, compare their preceding states instead of counting mentions. Independent agreement about the condition is stronger than three copies of one unsourced sentence. Keep the original links with the record so a future editor can repeat the check.
